Parachuting in the playground!

 

 Alan, Harriet and Pippa spend Tuesday lunchtime at the Dunbury School  - playing! The parachute was purchased with a grant from the Deanery link fund. We are getting to know the children and the children are getting to know us!

Two new Churchwardens at Milton Abbas

 Paula and Jennifer are the new Churchwardens at Milton Abbas as from yesterday evening, when they were commissioned at St George's Church, Oakdale, Poole. They take over the reins from Su and Murray who have served superbly as Churchwardens at St James Church, Milton Abbas.


Paula and Jennifer (along with a good number from other churches) made their declaration before the Registrar. The Archdeacon talked of the need to serve with joy and I am sure that these two will do this.








The service was followed by refreshments and our two new churchwardens were happy to test the church wines!

This week the proceeds from Coffee Stop

will be donated to Christian Aid
